Dancing in Lansing, This Sat! May 7
Hi all - We’ll be dancing on Sat, May 7 at Central United Methodist Church (CUMC), 215 N Capitol Ave in Lansing. There will be a new dancer intro at 6:30pm and the dance will begin at 7pm and end at 10.
We’ll feature the calling of Laurie Pietravalle from Grand Rapids, and music by Ann Arbor’s “Big Fun”. In an effort to keep things simple, we are charging everyone the member price of $10. Students $5.
Now - the Covid precautions- (numbers in Mich have been creeping up)
- Everyone must provide proof of full vaccination (along with a photo ID). We hope that you have gotten at least one booster.
- Masks MUST be worn at all times, except when drinking water. We will provide straws. Surgical masks are better than cloth masks. N95, or K95 are even better.
- Everyone will provide contact information after presenting vaccine credentials — email and phone number. A picture on your phone of your vaccine card is OK
- Please don’t bring snacks to share.
- If you are SICK- DO NOT Come.
A NOTE- Please, when you are at CUMC, stay on the first floor- if you bring kids with you, please keep them on the first floor as well. The main floor of the Fellowship Hall (and the bathrooms and entrance hall) are the only spaces we are renting for the dance. If I understand the new policies correctly, we are not supposed to be in the carpeted space at the back of the hall, or in the two class rooms on the westside of the Fellowship Hall - thanks for observing these new requests.
