Happy New Year!
Did you make it to the New Year’s Eve dance? It was a fun and festive event. There is something almost magical about lots of people dancing together.
Dance this weekend - first of 2020- will be this Saturday, Jan 4. Hosted by The Ten pound Fiddle; Julie Levy-Weston will call and they’ll be some great tunes by The Banjo Tramps. the dance will be at Central United Methodist Church (CUMC) at 215 N Capitol Ave in Lansing. New Dancer intro at 6:30, Dance 7 -10. Usual prices- Gen Public $12,
Members of Trad. Dance groups $10 and Students $6. Bring a friend and introduce them to contra dancing! (first timers get in for half price- $6)
The next dance in Jan will be on Sat, Jan 18th at CUMC. Dwayne Johnson will call to tunes by the Scarlet Runner String Band. New Dancer intro at 6:30pm, Dance 7 -10. Usual prices- Gen Public $12,

Don’t forget about the English Country Dancing resumes on Jan 9 at MSU.
The dance goes from 7:00pm to 9:30pm
